Matt was appointed Chief Executive Officer in August 2015. Prior to this appointment, Matt held the position of Chief Operating Officer with LifeHealthcare from 2013, responsible for the company’s sales, marketing and commercial operations, playing a key role in LifeHealthcare’s IPO in December 2013.

Prior to LifeHealthcare, Matt spent 13 years working with Johnson & Johnson Medical’s orthopaedic business DePuy Synthes, leading their Spine and Neurosurgical divisions.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Business (International Business) from Queensland University of Technology and a post graduate degree in Management from Melbourne Business School.

Leah recently joined LifeHealthcare as General Manager, People and Culture, bringing with her over ten years of Leadership and Human Resource experience in both local and global roles. Prior to joining LifeHealthcare, Leah’s most recent experience was with a global wine company where she focussed on organisational development and strategic HR.

Leah holds a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration (Human Resources) from The University of Sunshine Coast, QLD and a Bachelor Commerce, (Accounting and Business Law) from Flinders University of South Australia

Fraser joined LifeHealthcare in 2013.  He has over 16 years of logistics, sales and marketing experience in the orthopaedics industry.

Fraser previously held positions within Johnson & Johnson/DePuy at Global, Regional European and most recently local Australian levels.  For three years, Fraser was Group Manager of DePuySynthes Australia and New Zealand Sports Medicine, Extremities and Trauma businesses.  Fraser was part of the DePuySynthes Knee Worldwide Team prior to relocation to Australia.

Fraser holds a Bachelor of Business Management (Hons) from Napier University, Edinburgh.

Adham recently joined LifeHealthcare in 2015 after LHC’s acquisition of Medical Vision Australia Cardiology & Thoracic having served as the Managing Director of Medical Vision Australia for 3 years.

Prior to that, Adham held several positions within MVA over a 7 year period, including Senior Biomedical Engineer, Senior Product Specialist, and National Sales Manager.

Adham has worked in the fields of Cardiology and Respiratory Medicine for over 10 years, and holds a Bachelor of Science (Life Sciences), a Bachelor of Engineering (Biomedical) with Hons. from Flinders University in SA, a Master’s in Business Administration and a Masters in Management from the IGSB (International Graduate School of Business – University of South Australia).

Jarek joined LifeHealthcare as General Manager for Marketing in 2013 from DePuySynthes Spine.  He held various senior sales and product managerial positions within that organisation over 12 years.  Prior to this, Jarek held product and industrial engineering roles in organisations such as Surgical Innovations, Honeywell, Pacific Dunlop and Johnson & Johnson.

Jarek holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Hons) from the University of Technology Sydney, and his experience includes medical equipment, industrial technology and FMCG.  Present remit includes company and division positioning, market orientation and all aspects of product launch.

Kristine joined LifeHealthcare in 2014 as General Manager Commercial Services and was appointed to General Manager Corporate Development in 2016 responsible for investor relations and strategic projects.

Prior to LifeHealthcare Kristine was General Manager Strategy and Planning for United Group Limited and Assistant Director within Corporate Finance at PricewaterhouseCoopers focussing on mergers and acquisitions, insolvency and restructuring across a number of industries including healthcare, tourism, manufacturing, industrials, construction and consumer goods.

Kristine holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) from the Australian National University is a Chartered Accountant and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Meg joined LifeHealthcare as Group Commercial Manager prior to undertaking the GM Finance role in 2017.  Preceding LifeHealthcare, Meg spent 6 years in senior finance roles at I-MED Radiology and 10 years in large financial services companies including AMP Limited and Challenger Financial Services Limited.

Meg is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of Business from the Queensland University of Technology.

 Paul Petherbridge was appointed General Manager of Spine in January 2015.  Prior to this, he served as Account Executive in NSW and has been with LifeHealthcare since October 2010.

Prior to LifeHealthcare, Paul worked with Austspine launching K2M into the Australian market and has worked with numerous other US based spine firms including Biomet EBI, Abbott Spine and Medicrea in distribution models over the past 12 years.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology Sydney.

Tom has been a General Manager for the Surgical Technologies Division at LifeHealthcare since 2012, with previous experience in the medical device sales industry relating to sales management, contracts management, marketing and supplier management.

Tom has held positions including Business unit Manager, Clinical Sales Manager (Asia Pacific) and Regional Sales manager for medical device companies within the fields of orthopaedic, interventional, general, vascular, gynaecology and neurosurgical treatment specialities.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement Studies) from the Queensland University of Technology.

Matt was recently appointed General Manager for Ultrasound in August 2015. Previously Matt was co-founder and Director of M4 Healthcare, an Australian based medical distributor specialising in POC Ultrasound. LifeHealthcare acquired M4 Healthcare in May 2015.

Prior to M4 Healthcare Matt spent 6 years at LifeHealthcare as General Manager of LifeHealthcare’s Capital equipment businesses. Matt’s experience includes 20 years of medical devices distribution in ultrasound and other medical diagnostic and capital equipment.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Technology) from University of Sydney.

Dean joined Lifehealthcare in July 2015 as General Manager – Corporate Development, and subsequently appointed as CFO / Company Secretary in October 2015, with responsibilities covering Finance, Operations and IT for the Group.

Dean comes with over 25 years of experience in global distribution. Prior to joining Lifehealthcare, Dean was CFO/COO of Bendon Ltd (global brand retailer), CFO for Jeminex Ltd (Industrial & Safety – AMP private equity investment) and CFO for HPM Legrand (Electrical – Investec private equity investment).

Dean is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia.

Independent Non-executive Chair Bill has been involved in investment banking and stockbroking for over 30 years. Bill was formerly an Executive Director at Macquarie Group Limited for 13 years, which included being the joint head of Macquarie Equity Capital Markets division and Managing Director of Macquarie Davis/Equities. He previously worked at Potts West Turnbull and Co as an institutional equity salesman. Bill is a director of Literacy Planet, Chair of Inala (a Rudolph Steiner organisation supporting individuals with disabilities), and is also a director of the Australian Chamber Orchestra and Chair of the Australian Chamber Orchestra Instrument Fund. Bill holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from The University of Melbourne and a Master of Commerce in Finance from The University of New South Wales.

Independent Non-executive director Donna Staunton has extensive corporate and government experience in both the public and private sectors, in listed and unlisted companies and in the not-for-profit area. Donna originally trained as a lawyer and spent a number of years working at the associate level with one of the largest law firms in Australia. After leaving her law practice (and before establishing The Strategic Counsel), Donna moved into roles on the Senior Management Teams of a Fortune 500 Company, an ASX Top 20 Company and the CSIRO, the largest nongovernment research organisation in Australia. She was the first woman to sit on the Business Council of Australia. Ms Staunton is also the Chief Executive Officer of the Hearing Care Industry Association. Ms Staunton has served on the boards of Workcover NSW, the National Breast Cancer Centre, the Global Foundation, CSIRO Publishing and the Institute of Public Affairs. She is currently on the board of the Mental Health CRC and is a member of its audit committee. She is also a member of The Australian Institute of Company Directors. In her current role as Managing Director of The Strategic Counsel, Ms Staunton has worked with both sides of politics for more than 20 years and has been appointed to senior government boards by both Liberal and Labor governments.

Heith is the independent non-executive Chair of hipages Group, the non-executive Chair of Literacy Planet and the non-executive Chair of the Vision Australia Foundation. He is non-executive director of the ASX listed Bailador Technology Investments and ASX listed LifeHealthcare Group. In addition, he is non-executive director of Academic Colleges Group in New Zealand. Heith is also a member of the Adara Partners Advisory Board.

In Heith’s prior executive career, he was the founding CEO of Sterling Early Education, the Global CEO of Study Group and CEO for PBL Media New Zealand. Heith also held senior executive positions with Australian Consolidated Press and worked in sales and marketing roles for PepsiCo around Australia.

Heith has a Bachelor of Economics degree from the University of New England and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He lives in Sydney with his wife and three children.

Independent Non-executive director John has had over 17 years’ experience in the healthcare sector in Australia and Asia, having held a variety of financial, management operational and group executive roles. John has had direct experience in the management of private hospitals, medical centres, pathology, radiology, nutraceuticals and pharmacy distribution businesses. John is currently a board member of Cockburn GP Super Clinic and works as a consultant in the healthcare industry throughout Australia, Asia and Europe. He has held Chief Financial Officer roles at Healthscope, Symbion Health and Affinity Health. He has extensive mergers and acquisitions due diligence experience across various organisations where he held leadership roles. John holds a Bachelor of Business from Edith Cowan University.
